Financing

Financially, the project will be borne by the “Shin Shiva Charitable Trust”, an officially approved (and checked on twice a year) charitable organisation in India. The trust`s office, from where the school in Pauri is looked after and coordinated, is located in Delhi.

The trust relies on donations and support of those people and organisations, who back the idea. The “Shin Shiva Charitable Trust” in India will readily confirm the receipt of donations and gifts.

The Indian Government will take on 50% of the running charges of the school from the fifth year on (the medical support, nonetheless, still has to payed for by the “Shin Shiva Charitable Trust”).

It is crucial to secure the first five years financially – after that, the school will predictately be self-sufficient (government financing, donations, fees).

The experience shows that those projects which are successive, are being lavishly supported.

To be successful, they need some kind of protected phase during which they can develop. And for this time of basic development, the school needs parents who carry the project alongside, until it is self-sufficient.

The precautious estimate of costs provides the following issues for the next months:

-Teachers: 3x 250€ p.m.

-Housekeeper and aids: 2x 100€ p.m.

-Cook: 1x 100€ p.m.

-Gardener: 1x 100€ p.m.

-Secretary: 1x 100€ p.m.

1x 30€ p.y. per pupil for mandatory school uniforms+shoes (for summer and winter)

1x 20€p.y. per pupil for books and materials

Long-term expansion to a secondary school with the described opportunities for the pupils.

We are greatful for each onetime or monthly financial support, for the vision of the school can become reality.
